About
The Foundation was created to honour Ricky’s memory not only by celebrating the person he was, but by continuing his work to speak out for and support those with mental health challenges.
Ricky was open and honest about his own struggles with mental health. His courage in speaking about those challenges encouraged others to share their experiences and seek support when they needed it most.
In his memory, our Trustees and supporters are determined to turn sadness into positive action, using the Foundation to support meaningful projects and to be in the corner of those who need it most. We want to support projects and initiatives that create a lasting impact - helping to ensure that no one has to fight this battle alone.

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE AND BECOMING AN OFFICIAL CHARITY
The Ricky Hatton Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established to support mental health and wellbeing programmes and initiatives.
The Foundation is incorporated in England and Wales as a company limited by guarantee and operates on a non-profit basis, with all funds reinvested into its objectives.
